The 7,100-acre ranch is located in southwest Schleicher County atop the Edwards Plateau, a true Rio Grande turkey hunting hot-spot. With conservatively managed game populations and ongoing conservation programs enhancing wildlife habitat coupled with exceptional facilities and warm hospitality; we create a perfect combination for an unforgettable experience.
Spring Rio Grande Turkey Packages:

OPTION 1: All-Inclusive Semi-Guided Turkey Hunt Package:
-5 days, 4 nights, 3.5 days hunting (7 hunts): $1350 perhunter
OR
-4 days, 3 nights, 2.5 days hunting (5 hunts): $1200 per hunter

Includes:

  • Double occupancy lodging in private cabins at the Live Oak Lodge & Cabins
  • 1-2 guide/s for hunting/calling
  • 1-2 extra guides for dropping off/picking up hunters
  • All meals and evening happy hour
  • On-ranch transportation
  • Harvest up to 2 gobblers per hunter and game preparation

All prices listed above have been figured at 10-12 turkey hunters, in either one or two groups. Pricing may vary for group sizes outside of that range.

Fall Dove Hunting Package:

Hunt Includes:

  •     Friday afternoon arrival and first hunt
  •     Hamburger dinner on the patio at the Live Oak Lodge; Additionally, items for continental style breakfast, snacks and fixings for sandwiches will be stocked in the kitchen and available for guests through out weekend.
  •     2 nights double occupancy lodging in cabins at the Live Oak Lodge & Cabins
  •     Saturday hunts and relaxing around the Live Oak Lodge and pool
  •     Saturday B-B-Q dinner on the patio at Live Oak Lodge
  •     Optional-Sunday morning hunt
  •     Noon check-out
  •     Group size: minimum 7 hunters; maximum 14 people

Cost: $365/ hunter; $220/ non-hunting guest, tax included; $150 non-refundable deposit per person due when sign up for hunt, remainder due upon arrival.

Habitat enhancement Habitat enhancement projects: March/April 2007 - Planted about 20 acres, 10 acres in two separate locations, of four varieties of millet and other bird-attracting plants in fields where we have water holes within a reasonable proximity. Sunflowers will be planted in the same fields in late winter. Planning and guidance with ongoing project is being led by the local NRCS office.
